Almost everywhere in Metchosin will offer some kind of beautiful scenery from the oceans to lush forests or quaint farmland. Providing lots of trails and viewpoints around the area, there's so much to explore.
Some amazing beaches and trails to visit are:
Witty's Beach - A 1km trail will take you right to the soft beach which is great at low and high tide, in the summer this beach is one of the most popular places to visit but don't worry there's lots of space for everyone to enjoy.
Matheson Lake Provincial Park - A lovely clean lake with great hiking trails that goes all the way around and little beach spots to go swimming off. It's great in the summer or winter for outdoor activities and dog walks all year round.
Taylor Beach - Big and spacious with lots of driftwood logs to play or rest on overlooking the beautiful ocean.

Mychosen Cafe - Metchosin may be a smaller place but they have some of the best comfort food in the city, Mychosen Cafe has been serving happy customers since 1987 and has become a true staple here. Since then they have also attached a yummy dessert shop and pizza parlor with a little petting zoo outside. It's the perfect spot for family and friends plus it's less than a 10-min drive to multiple beaches if you want your food to go.
Bilston Creek Farm - A true gem, Bilston Creek has so much to offer all year round, from their breathtaking lavender farm to the apple orchards it's the best place to enjoy time with your family and friends. You can visit them on the weekends for a picnic and yummy woodfired pizza.
